RVNL shares in focus amid securing work order from Central Railway’s Nagpur division
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited emerges as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from Central Railway for OHE modification work for the up-gradation of existing 1x25 KV electric traction system to 2x25 KV at feeding system in Itarsi-Amla section in Nagpur division of Central Railway to meet 3000 MT loading target.

State-run Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for Rs 115.79 crore contract from Central Railway’s Nagpur division.
According to the filing made, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited emerges as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from Central Railway for OHE modification work for the up-gradation of existing 1x25 KV electric traction system to 2x25 KV at feeding system in Itarsi-Amla section in Nagpur division of Central Railway to meet 3000 MT loading target.
To assist a 3,000 MT loading goal, the project calls for modernising the current 1x25 KV electric traction system to a 2x25 KV one in the Itarsi-Amla area of the Nagpur division. Over 24 months, the contract will be carried out.

Earlier, Rail Vikas Nigam stated the company has inked a project implementation agency (PIA) arrangement with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) in cooperation with HFCL Ltd and Aerial Telecom Solutions Pvt Ltd. The alliance intends to build, construct, run, and maintain the middle-mile network of BharatNet, a government project to provide broadband access all over India.
Shares of RVNL are trading low by 0.55% at Rs 369.50.
