For civil, structural, and architectural works at the 2x800MW DVC Koderma Thermal Power Station (KTPS) Phase-II in Jharkhand, Power Mech Projects Ltd has contracted Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for a Rs 549 crore (excluding GST).
Among other things, the contract covers construction of foundations, levelling and grading of the power block area, service buildings, ventilation systems, fire protection systems, and fencing. From the date of the Letter of Award (LOA), the project's execution schedule calls for 32 months.

Capitalising on rising sector demand, Power Mech offers services for power plants and infrastructure projects—including erection, testing, commissioning (ETC), operation and maintenance (O&M), and civil works. On the BSE, Power Mech Projects Ltd's shares ended at Rs 2,179.00, up by Rs 132.50, or 6.47%.
