NTPC arm shares rises amid commencing operations of Bhainsara Solar PV Project
The first part's capacity of 160 MW and the second part's capacity of 60 MW had already been declared in commercial operation on August 28, 2024, and January 7, 2025, respectively.

NTPC Green Energy Ltd’s shares in focus as the firm has received approval to start operations at the third and last part of the 320 MW Bhainsara Solar PV Project. The third and last part capacity of 100 MW out of 320 MW Bhainsara Solar PV Project of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan awarded under SECI Raj-Tranche-III tender, is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 20.03.2025, as per the filing stated.

In addition to this, NTPC Ltd has declared the 245 MW capacity of Nokh Solar PV Project, Rajasthan, on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 Hrs.of 26.03.2025. With this, the total installed and commercial capacity of NTPC on a standalone and group basis has now become 59,413 MW & 77,806.50 MW, respectively.
Shares of NTPC Ltd are trading low by 2.03% at Rs 359.40 and the NTPC Green shares are currently trading high over 0.08% at Rs 100.37.
