NTPC Bongaigaon achieves a significant milestone in its commitment to community development with the inauguration of a residential dormitory for reelers and weavers at Bodoland Silk Park, Kokrajhar, under its CSR programme.

The dormitory was inaugurated by Smt Abha Jadli, Senior Member (Sanyukta Mahila Samiti) in the presence of key dignitaries and community leaders. In her address, she emphasized NTPC’s people- and planet-first approach, lauding the collaboration with the Department of Sericulture as a powerful example of inclusive growth.

She also addressed the General Body Meeting at the Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club, where members discussed initiatives under NTPC’s Awahan scheme.
With a focus on sustainability, livelihood support and empowerment, NTPC continues to power progress responsibly across communities.
