State-run NBCC (India) Ltd shares are in focus as the company has announced that it had received two significant work orders totaling Rs 851.69 crore. The first order worth Rs 776.75 crore from Damodar Valley Corporation includes the construction of buildings and allied works of townships at Durgapur, Koderma & Raghunathpur, and a DVC administrative building at New Town, Kolkata.

The second order worth Rs 74.94 crore from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs includes maintenance works of the New Moti Bagh GPRA complex (NMB Complex) for two years.

In comparison, the NSE Nifty 50 index fell by 0.88%. Over the past year, the stock has decreased by 4.18%. The total trading volume for the day reached 13.02 times its 30-day average, and the relative strength index stood at 52.93.
