In a significant step towards women’s empowerment and financial independence, Jhankar Mahila Mandal, Western Coalfields, Nagpur, under the leadership of visionary President Smt.Abha Dwivedi, proudly announces the inauguration of Gamini, its Driving School for Underprivileged Women. This initiative aims to equip women with professional E- Rikshaw driving skills, opening doors to employment opportunities and self-reliance.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Smt. Abha Dwivedi, President Jhankar Mahila Mandal along with esteemed dignitaries Vice President of Jhankar Mahila Mandal Smt.Indu Singh, Smt. Roselyn Ghosh, Smt Reena Pande, Smt Dr Sonali Mhetre, Shri. Cyril Khisty, Chairman, Shilpa Mirashi, Director, Indian Institute of Youth Welfare, Sayani Bhatt, Empowerment Trainer, Mohammed Arif, Technical Trainer, Driver Ben, Basera, other social activists, community leaders and good number of enthusiastic women beneficiaries.

The driving school will provide free training, licensing assistance, and job placement support for women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Speaking on the occasion, the visionary behind this initiative, Smt.Abha Dwivedi "Empowering women through driving skills is a step towards their independence and dignity. With this initiative, we aim to break barriers and create sustainable livelihoods for underprivileged women."
The driving school will offer comprehensive training conducted by experienced instructors, ensuring that participants gain the necessary skills to drive E Rikshaw confidently and safely. The program also focuses on exploring employment opportunities in sectors such as cab services, logistics, and private transportation.
This initiative is supported by Driver Ben,Basera and Indian Institute of Youth Welfare, Nagpur.
