State-run Engineers India Limited (EIL) has recently been appointed as a “Project Management Consultant on Depository mode for Development of an Academic Institute of National Importance with a project cost of approximately Rupees 1200 crore. In this regard, a contract agreement was signed between the Institute and Engineers India Limited, the company stated in an exchange filing.
Additionally, in line with the National Mission for attaining Net-Zero, the PSU company marks a major step towards foraying into new and alternate energy. As a step forward towards achieving the NetZero target, the Rooftop Solar Voltaic System has been installed at all EIL offices and residential offices in PAN India.
On 1st Feb 2025, CMD EIL, Mrs. Vartika Shukla inaugurated the 437 KWp SPV system installed at various EIL offices and residential complexes. With this, total installed capacity of SPV system at EIL buildings has become 1292 KWp.
