New Delhi: Honorable Union Finance Minister Mrs Nirmala Sitharaman (Nirmala Sitharaman) inaugurated the summit titled “CSR – Towards Technologies for a better tomorrow” held at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras on 18 December and interacted with a cross-section of Industry leaders and academia on how to make CSR more meaningful and enable long-term research collaboration.
Finance Minister also visited the CPCL stall at the Exhibition on CSR activities in Technical collaboration with IIT Madras, organized as part of the summit at the IIT campus.
Mr Arvind Kumar, Managing Director, CPCL explained to the Minister CPCL’s commitment and achievement towards CSR activities and initiatives in various disciplines such as Health care, education, Rural Development, Women empowerment, Disaster Management, Environment protection, infrastructure, Green belt development etc., in Technical collaboration with IIT Madras.
