Northern Coalfields Ltd. (NCL), the Coal India division, anticipates meeting the 139 million-ton production goal for the current fiscal year. According to a statement from NCL, the subsidiary produced 128.13 million tonnes up until February, and "we are hopeful that we will also achieve our annual target."

The corporation, which is well-known for its highly automated mines and its vital role in guaranteeing the nation's energy security, has started a comprehensive first-aid training program for stay-at-home moms.

By raising awareness of first aid beyond the workplace and into the homes of its workforce, NCL is cultivating a community that values primary care and reinforcing a culture of preparedness.

"Launched on January 26, the First Aid Training Program for Homemakers has successfully trained approximately 1,500 homemakers in various sessions held across all projects in just one month," the company stated.

NCL plays a significant role in meeting the nation's energy needs, with about 88 percent of the coal produced being dispatched to the power sector. The company holds a 15 percent share in the country's total coal production, contributing approximately 10 percent to the overall power generation.
