Coal India Limited (CIL) Chairman, Shri P M Prasad, visited the South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) megaprojects on March 22, 2025, to assess production, productivity, and future strategies.
His visit commenced at Dipka Megaproject, where he inspected key operational sites, including outsourcing and departmental patches, FMC, Silo, and Railway Siding. He interacted with officers and shift in-charges, motivating them to enhance production in the final days of March and discussing action plans for FY 2025-26.

Following this, Shri Prasad proceeded to Kusmunda Megaproject, where he reviewed mining activities at outsourcing and departmental patches, including Neelkanth A and B. He also assessed land possession status and held discussions on the production plan for 2025-26.
SECL Director Technical (Operations & Project/Planning) Shri N Franklin Jayakumar along with senior officials accompanied sir during the visit.
