CMPDI CMD Inagurates Coal India Inter-Company Carrom Tournament 2024-25
The tournament started with the singing of the Coal India corporate song, followed by formal introduction of Teams and players.
Ranchi: Shri Manoj Kumar, CMD, CMPDI inaugurated the Three-day Coal India Inter-Company Carrom Tournament 2024-25 organized by CMPDI from 03.02.2025 to 05.02.2025 at "Rabindra Bhawan", CMPDI, Ranchi. On this occasion, Shri Ajay Kumar, Director (Technical/P&D/RD&T); Shri Sanjay Kadambar, General Manager (P&A); JCC members Shri Ashok Yadav, Shri RP Singh and Shri Devendra Tiwari, General Managers/Heads of Departments from CMPDI (HQ) and Regional Institute-III, Ranchi along with a large number of sports lovers were present.

Speaking on this occasion, Shri Kumar said that this tournament provides a platform for the players to come together, exchange ideas and experiences, and engage in friendly competition. He further said, that sports not only promote physical health but also strengthen the mind, Sportsmanship isn’t about focusing on winning or losing, rather, it’s about finding inspiration to perform better and motivating ourselves to continuously improve.
