BCCL distributes 42270 masks

New Delhi: The Dhanbad district administration in Jharkhand has converted the Central Hospital of Bharat Coking Coal Ltd. (BCCL) into a COVID19 Hospital.
In the COVID hospital, 100 beds have been earmarked for isolation, 50 beds have been reserved for quarantine and 7 beds have been transformed into ICU with two ventilators. The hospital is also equipped with 70 oxygen cylinders and has 310 personal protective equipment (PPE) for the frontline health care professionals to fight the COVID19 pandemic. The hospital has a separate entry and exit.
A dedicated task force has been formed to monitor overall COVID status and will also oversee cleanliness and sanitation of wards and ambulances. BCCL has distributed 42,270 masks and 1036.5 litres of hand sanitizers to its employees and people living around its operations.
