AAI Dholera International Airport set to become a major aviation hub
AAI remains steadfast in its commitment to deliver the project on time. Dholera International Airport is expected to be commissioned by December 2025.

New Delhi: The under-construction international and greenfield airport in Gujarat, Dholera International Airport is set to become a major aviation hub. The airport will serve the logistics requirements of the DSIR, and is planned as a huge industrial township in the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) project.
On 8th March 2025, Sh. Vumlunmang Vualnam, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, visited the project site of Dholera International Airport with Sh. Vipin Kumar, Chairman of Airport Authority of India (AAI), and other senior officials to review the ongoing development.

AAI remains steadfast in its commitment to deliver the project on time. Dholera International Airport is expected to be commissioned by December 2025.
Key officials, including representatives from DGCA, DIACL, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, AAICLAS, GM-Project & team also attended the visit. A project review meeting was also held, bringing together executing agencies and state government officials to ensure seamless coordination for state support works.
