BEL dedicates 140 KW solar power plant

New Delhi: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), has dedicated a 140 KW solar power plant to Vijnana Vihara, a residential school in Gudilova, Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. 

This initiative underscores BEL's dedication to promoting renewable energy and supporting educational institutions in their pursuit of sustainability.

Mr Vikraman N, Director (HR), BEL handed over the solar plant to Mr P V Narayan Rao, Chairman, Vijnana Vihara, in the presence of Mr Jitendra Singh, GM (BEL-Machilipatnam), senior officials from BEL and school administration. The 140kW solar power plant caters to a significant portion of the school's energy requirements, thereby reducing reliance on conventional energy sources and lowering electricity costs.
