Western Coalfields signs MoU with CIPET to create job opportunity
The selected courses aim to create job opportunities for youth and are part of the company's CSR policy.
WCL signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CIPET for the financial years 2024-25 and 2025-26 on 24th July 2024.
The Key highlights of the MoU include CIPET providing skill development training to youth in plastic engineering trades in WCL-affected areas, such as Chandrapur, Yavatmal, and Nagpur districts in Maharashtra and Chhindwara and Betul districts of Madhya Pradesh. The goal is to attract 225 participants, per the company’s official sources.
