Western Coalfields Limited wins 2nd Best Enterprise Award

New Delhi: Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has been awarded the 2nd Best Enterprise Award during the 35th National Meeting of Women in Public Sector (WIPS) held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. This prestigious award was presented to Western Coalfields Limited among 13 participants.

The award was presented by Mrs. Vijaya Kishor Rahatkar, Chairperson, Women Commission and Mr. Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE. The award was received by Mrs. Anupama Temurnikar, Chairperson, Women in Public Sector (Western Region), Mrs. Medha Hardas, Mrs. Jyoti Verma, Ms. Ankita Ghosh and other WIPS members.

After winning the award, WIPS WCL team congratulated CMD, WCL, Mr. J.P. Dwivedi on 21.02.2025, I met Director (Personnel) Dr. Hemant Sharad Pandey and informed them about my work. Shri J.P. Dwivedi congratulated WIPS WCL and appreciated the positive work done by them throughout the year. He asked all the members of WIPS to continue their excellent work.

In the national meeting of WIPS, Mrs. Anupama Temurnikar, President of Women in Public Sector (Western Region) and Chief Manager (Human Resource Development) has been elected as the National General Secretary of WIPS for the upcoming term year 2025-2027.
