WCL's Team Samvad Earns Prestigious Honor from Coal India

Nagpur: Team WCL Samvad, the dedicated sustainable communication team of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), was prominently honored for its remarkable contribution to the three-month Vigilance Awareness Campaign (VAW-2024) spearheaded by Coal India Limited. The closing ceremony of the campaign, recently held in Kolkata, recognized the team's tireless efforts in promoting preventive vigilance and fostering a culture of integrity.

Senior Manager (Public Relations), Team WCL Samvad, Shri Asheesh Tayal, and team member Shri Saurabh Wahane, received the prestigious award in Nagpur at the hands of Chairman-cum-Managing Director of WCL Shri Jai Prakash Dwivedi, Director (Finance and Personnel) Shri Bikram Ghosh, Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Ajay Madhukar Mhetre in gracious presence of General Manager/HoD (Per. / Admin. /HRD /P.R & Security) Shri P. Narendra Kumar.

WCL Board members highly praised Team Samvad for its innovative and meaningful initiatives, which played a pivotal role in image building of Coal Industry along with the success of vigilance campaign. The closing ceremony in Kolkata was attended by luminaries including Chairman, Coal India Limited, Shri P.M. Prasad, Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Brajesh Kumar Tripathi, and Director (Finance) Shri Mukesh Agarwal, also witnessed the participation of Director, Central Vigilance Commission, Shri Ravinder Kumar, along with Chief Vigilance Officers from various subsidiary companies of CIL and other PSUs such as MSTC Limited and Hindustan Copper Limited.
