WCL received 'Swachhata Pakhwada Award'
Taking cognizance of these effective efforts, the Ministry of Coal has declared WCL as 'Swachhata Pakhwada' for the year 2023'.

Taking cognizance of these effective efforts, the Ministry of Coal has declared WCL as 'Swachhata Pakhwada' for the year 2023'.
The award was presented to Shri Manoj Kumar, CMD, WCL by Shri Amrit Lal Meena, Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Govt. of India, at a special function held at Ministry of Coal, New Delhi on 06.09.2023.

Dwivedi was also present. CMD Mr. Manoj Kumar congratulated all the personnel while giving credit for this achievement to Team WCL.
The award is given by the Ministry of Coal on the basis of the set criteria, which includes the initiative taken to increase awareness about the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in the public mind, etc.
