WCL celebrates Coal Workers' Day
Chairman-cum-Managing Director Shri Jai Prakash Dwivedi offered floral tributes at the coal miner's statue and martyr's memorial at the company headquarters.
Team WCL celebrated Coal Workers (Miners) Day today on the occasion of International Workers' Day: 01 May 2024. Chairman-cum-Managing Director Shri Jai Prakash Dwivedi offered floral tributes at the coal miner's statue and martyr's memorial at the company headquarters.
In his address, he wished everyone a Happy Labor Day and Maharashtra Foundation Day. He appealed to make every possible effort for the welfare and betterment of the employees. Also, while mentioning the history of labor and workers, he expressed his views on the importance of labor and workers.

In the Miners' Day program, CMD Shri Jai Prakash Dwivedi pledged to everyone present to participate through labor in the interest of the country. On this occasion, Kalyan Mandal members Mr. Kameshwar Rai and Mr. Ajay Pal Yadav and General Manager/Head of Department, officers and employees were present in large numbers. Everyone present offered floral tributes at the martyr's memorial. The program was conducted and the vote of thanks was given by Manager (Public Relations) Shri Milind Chahande.
