PESB recommended Vivek Banzal as Chairman & MD of ITI Limited

New Delhi: Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Wednesday 13 April 2022, recommended Mr Vivek Banzal for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, ITI Limited. Currently he is serving as the Director (Consumer Fixed Access), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL)

PESB interviewed three other applicants apart from him in the selection meeting including Mr RAJEEV SRIVASTAVA, Director (Finance) from ITI Limited

Apart from them Mr RAJESH RAI, General Manager, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL), and Mr AMIT GARG, Managing Director, KRIDE (IRSE) also interviewed in the selection meeting. 

Moreover, Mr Banzal can assume charge of the post, after the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) nod.

Shri Vivek Banzal is an ITS Officer of 1987 is serving as Director (CFA), in BSNL Corporate Office since October 2018. He executed the first digital satellite ground station project for telecom in India.
