Vikas Kumar will assume charge as new Managing Director of DMRC from Today
Sh. Kumar is taking over charge from Dr. Mangu Singh, who was the Managing Director of DMRC since 1st January 2012.

New Delhi: Vikas Kumar is all set to assume the responsibility as the new Managing Director of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation with effect from today i.e., 1st April 2022 (Friday). Sh. Kumar is taking over charge from Dr. Mangu Singh, who was the Managing Director of DMRC since 1st January 2012.
Sh. Kumar, who was holding the position of Director (Operations) has over 3 decades of experience in rail-based urban transportation projects. An officer of Indian Railway Traffic Service, Sh. Kumar worked with the Indian Railways before joining DMRC in September 2004.
He has been associated with DMRC for more than 17 years. Sh. Kumar has headed the Operations wing of DMRC since 2007 in various capacities. He has played a key role in ensuring the smooth commencement of Metro services in over 300 kms of Metro corridors in Delhi – NCR.
