The order is for the design, engineering, supply, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of desalination water pipelines between the CPCL Manali Refinery and the CPCL desalination plant at Kattupalli, the company said.

Water treatment firm, VA Tech Wabag on Wednesday, January 1, said it won an order worth Rs 145 crore Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (CPCL). The order is for the design, engineering, supply, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of desalination water pipelines between the CPCL Manali Refinery and the CPCL desalination plant at Kattupalli, the company said.
The project will be completed in 12 months. "CPCL has been a key customer of Wabag, and we are happy to be chosen to deliver this project," S Natrajan, head of sales and marketing in the India cluster, said.
VA Tech Wabag Ltd. is an Indian multinational company focused on desalination and water treatment for municipal and industrial users. Founded in Breslau in 1924,[1] the company is headquartered in Chennai.
