Union Bank appoints Kanika Pasricha as Chief Economic Advisor

Mumbai-based public sector bank, Union Bank of India on January 23 appointed Ms. Kanika Pasricha as the Chief Economic Advisor of the Bank.

She has been appointed for a period of three years on a contractual basis extendable by one year at a time subject to a maximum term of five years upon satisfactory performance.

Ms. Kanika Pasricha, aged 38 years is an economist with more than 15 years of experience. She has an MA (Economics) from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University and a Graduate in Arts (Economics) from Delhi University.

Earlier, she worked as an Economist (Director) – Global Research, at Standard Chartered Bank. She was involved in in-depth research and extensive data analysis to link macro parameters with market metrics.

She has also worked as an Economist (Chief Manager) with ICICI Bank Ltd.
