New Delhi: STUP Consultants Pvt. Ltd., in consortium with RITES Ltd., has been awarded a contract for Detailed Design Consultancy (DDC) services for Pune Metro’s Phase-2. The contract includes designing 13 elevated stations, spanning two metro lines, with a project value of Rs. 2.92 crores and a completion period of 48 months.

In a significant move to expand metro connectivity in the city, STUP Consultants Pvt. Ltd., in consortium with RITES Ltd., secured a contract for providing Detailed Design Consultancy services for two elevated stations on Line 2A (Vanaz to Chandni Chowk) and 11 elevated stations on Line 2B (Ramwadi to Wagholi) of Pune Metro’s Phase-2 project. The contract, valued at Rs. 2,92,50,000, will be completed over 48 months.

The consultancy will include conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for stations covering architecture, civil and structural components, E&M services, fire safety, plumbing, water supply, acoustics, solar energy integration, and more. The DDC will also be responsible for designing cost-effective station structures, coordinating with viaduct designers, and ensuring compliance with Maha-Metro guidelines.

The collaboration between STUP Consultants and RITES on the Pune Metro project is a crucial step toward improving the city’s metro infrastructure.
