Sri A K Saxena assumes charge as Director Operations of RINL-VSP
New Delhi:Sri Ajit Kumar Saxena has taken charge as the new Director (Operations) of RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant today. Prior to this assignment, Sri Saxena has worked as Chief General Manager, Mills, IISCO, Burnpur, Steel Authority of India Ltd.
Sri Saxena started his career as a Management Trainee (Technical) in 1986. He worked in various assignments in SAIL starting with Bhilai Steel Plant and worked in various positions during his long tenure of 33years in SAIL.
Sri Saxena hold B Tech degree from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University in Metallurgy and also acquired an MBA. He has received “Young Metallurgist of the year Award “ for the year 200o from Ministry of Steel, GOI.
