Sonepur: Sonepur Bazari Area Environment Protection Measures under mission SuDESHH: Transplantation of trees Sonepur Bazari Area was facing paucity of dumping space because of which trees planted near glasses was needed to cut down to accommodate OB. These trees were planted by diginataries and aged about 5-12 years. 

 

A mature tree sequesters carbon of about 50 pounds per year. Cutting down these trees would have resulted adverse impact on environment thereby increasing global warming. To stop this Sonepur Bazari Area took a eco friendly step of transplanting these 144 numbers trees to a new location. Sonepur Bazari Area is transplanting these mature trees under mission SuDESHH thereby protecting environment.
