SJVN organizing Two-Day Vigilance Symposium on Best Practices in CPSUs
Shimla: SJVN is organizing a two-day Vigilance Symposium on 'Best Practices in Central Public Sector Undertakings for Better Vigilance Compliance' at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh from 21-22 nd November, 2024.
The symposium commenced with welcome address by Sh. Prem Prakash, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), SJVN today. He highlighted the critical importance of preventive vigilance and integration of technological solutions to strengthen vigilance frameworks and ensure robust compliance mechanisms across CPSUs.
In the inaugural address, Chief Guest Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel) SJVN, emphasized the pivotal role vigilance plays in promoting transparency and upholding the principles of good governance in organizations. He reiterated SJVN's dedication to align with national vigilance directives and fostering a culture of ethical governance.

Prominent attendees include Sh. Virender Kumar Adhana, DDG, Ministry of Defense (Ex-CVO, REC), Sh. Santosh Kumar, CVO NHPC, Sh. KP Singh, CVO NEEPCO, Sh. Sudipta Acharjee, CVO DVC, Mrs. Simmi R. Nakra, CVO PFC. Senior vigilance officers from organizations such as NTPC, REC, THDC, BBMB, Grid Controller of India Limited, NPTI and others are participating in the symposium.

This initiative is part of SJVN's continuous efforts to promote best practices in vigilance and governance while fostering a culture of integrity.
