SJVN CMD visited 1000 MW Tehri Dam Hydro Electric Project

Uttarakhand: Chairman and Managing Director of SJVN Shri Nand Lal Sharma visited the 1000 MW Tehri Dam Hydro Electric Project on April 08, 2022. During his visit Sh. Sharma held meetings with Senior Officers of THDC and held detailed discussions on various Technical matters related to Hydro Power generation as well as O&M issues impacting Mega Power Projects. 

Sh. Nand Lal Sharma also visited the Power House Complex, Reservoir, and Museum. Tehri Dam is a 260.5 m high Rock and Earth-fill embankment Dam on the Bhagirathi River in Tehri Garhwal district in Uttarakhand, India. The Dam creates a reservoir of 4.0 cubic kilometers with a surface area of 52 sq. Km.
