SECL CMD visits Gevra Mega Project; stressed on maximum utilization to increase productivity

NEW DELHI: Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra, Chairman and Managing Director of SECL did a two-day field visit to Gevra Mega Project under Korba Coalfields on 14 & 15 May. He reviewed the operation and performance including production and dispatch of the area and gave necessary instructions.
Morale and effort to exceed the target - In discussion with the core team of the area, he motivated the area to contribute beyond the target in the financial year and the plan for this was discussed. Gevra is moving ahead with a target of 52 million tonnes in the financial year.
He stressed maximum utilization of the capacity of departmental machines to increase productivity. Dr. Mishra also reviewed the coal dispatch being done by the area. It may be noted that on average 15 rakes of coal are being dispatched from Gevra in addition to road and other means.
