SECL CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra inspects Kusmunda Mega Project, reviewed monsoon preparations

New Delhi: Chairman and Managing Director of SECL Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra reached Kusmunda Mega Project. He reviewed the production and dispatch and inspected the stock. 28 and 29 no stock are big coal stock of Kusmunda where more than 5 MT coal is currently stored.

In view of the fact that at present the temperature in districts like Korba and Bilaspur is being seen up to 43-45 degrees and the tendency of spontaneous combustion is seen in coal; CMD Dr. Mishra instructed the area management for proper and continuous stock management.

He directed the area team regarding the quality of coal, expected preparations for the coming monsoon.

Kusmunda area dispatched 1,20,000 tonnes of coal yesterday. This is the second largest mine of the country and this financial year is moving towards a big target.

Top officials of Kusmunda area including General Manager Gevra and Deepka Shri SK Mohanty were present on the occasion of CMD SECL's visit.
