SBI virtually launched YONO SBI in Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Bangladesh
New Delhi: State bank of India announced the launch of YONO SBI in Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Bangladesh. The virtual launch was done today, March 18, 2021, by SBI Chairman, Mr. Dinesh Khara, in the presence of other top executives of the Bank.
Three years back on 24 November 2017 SBI launched YONO, an integrated digital banking platform that enables users to access a variety of financial and other services. There were more than 27 million users (According to 2020) of YONO.
YONO offers services from over 100 e-commerce companies including online shopping, travel planning, taxi booking, train booking,movie ticket booking, online education and offline retail with special discounts.
YONO also offers conventional mobile banking services such as bank account opening, fund transfers, cashless bill payments, and loans. The smartphone app can be used to make ATM withdrawals.
