SAIL's Beneficiation Plant will have low grade iron ore for blast furnaces
New Delhi: One of the largest steel producers in India, and a Maharatna Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) aligning itself with the national goal for carbon neutrality.
The company's recently inaugurated Beneficiation Plant by Hon'ble Steel and Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia at its Bhilai Steel Plant's Dalli-Rajhara Mines is a significant step in this direction.

SAIL mentioned, "This is a significant step towards the efficient use of low-grade input materials. This Beneficiation Plant comes at a time when India is focused on promoting de-carbonization in the domestic steel industry and in formulating a long-term roadmap for green steel production in collaboration with the steel industry."
