RVNL Wins Orders for Nagpur Metro Works
The project, awarded by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Nagpur Metro), involved the construction of six elevated metro stations.

The Nagpur Metro Phase-2 project is making significant progress with awarding all viaduct tenders and advancing station construction. The Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has bagged a major viaduct contract.
The construction of the station is moving forward, with two out of four tenders secured, totaling Rs 443.53 crore. RVNL has won contracts for the Reach 2A and 2B stations, as per the report. The bids for the remaining tenders are expected to be opened by November 2024.
The Nagpur project, which has a budget of Rs 6,708 crore, is funded by the Asian Development Bank, the European Investment Bank, and equity of central and state government funds.
The Metro Phase-2 will cover a total distance of 43.8 kilometres, connecting various parts of the city through four key routes.

Earlier in May, the company had announced bagging a Rs 187.34 crore project in Nagpur.
