Maha-Metro had invited bids for all 10 stations’ construction in January 2024 with a Rs. 307.34 crore estimate and a 900-day deadline. Technical bids were opened in March 2024 to reveal just 2 bidders: RVNL and YFC Projects – BBG Infrastructure JV.

YFC – BBG JV’s bid didn’t meet the tender’s conditions and was disqualified, which automatically made RVNL the front-runner for the contract even before their financial bid was opened.
