RVNL secures Rs 294.94 Cr Order from South Central Railway
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has been declared the lowest bidder for a major project by South Central Railway. As the lowest bidder, the contract is for the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) for the doubling of the track between Navipet Station and Indalvai Station in Telangana.
The project involves doubling the track over a distance of 33.70 km, excluding the Nizamabad Yard and includes electrification and signaling works. It is a part of the Mudkhed-Medchal Doubling Project.
The project, awarded by South Central Railway, is expected to be completed within 24 months at an estimated cost of Rs 294.94 crore.

A consortium led by RVNL, HFCL, and Aerial Telecom Solutions was declared the lowest bidder for orders by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) worth around Rs 7,000 crore.
Despite the unusual performance, RVNL remains optimistic for the second half of FY25, expecting a topline of Rs 22,000 crore to Rs 23,000 crore. The company's order book is currently at Rs 92,000 crore.
