RVNL Launches NIRMAN – an Innovative Leadership Development Program
RVNL, a leading railway infrastructure development organization and a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India has unveiled an exciting new initiative aimed at fostering exceptional leadership skills within its ranks.
The program named NIRMAN was launched at its headquarters in August Kranti Bhawan by the Chairman and Managing Director, Shri Pradeep Kumar Gaur. He unveiled the logo for the program and welcomed all participants into the 3 month-long journey which will be curated and executed by RVNL HR Team along with SHRM India Team.

Speaking at the launch, the Chairman and CEO of RVNL, Shri. Gaur, spoke about the importance of employees in the RVNL world. “ RVNL recognizes the importance of fostering strong relationships and collaborations with its stakeholders and among its most important assets – its employees.” He also talked about the various initiatives that RVNL is embarking on in its journey to becoming a critical partner in the development of infrastructure in India.
He further added, “ By investing in the development of our employees, we aim to build a robust leadership pipeline that will drive innovation, excellence, and sustainable growth in all aspects of our business operations.”.
Also speaking at the launch event was Mrs. Anupam Ban, Director of HR, RVNL. Mrs. Ban spoke about the importance of learning in the current times and also about the need for customization of a learning journey that is required for such initiatives. She informed the participants that a lot of hard work was done to customize the content and flow of the NIRMAN journey for RVNL so that the leaders find appropriate development inputs suited for their ecosystem.
The launch event was also attended by Director (Projects), Shri Vinay Singh, Director (Operations), Shri. Rajesh Prasad, Director (Finance), Shri. Sanjeeb Kumar among many other senior employees of the organization.
The SHRM Team was represented by Mr. Ashissh Kaul, Director of Advisory and Knowledge Services and Business Head PSE at SHRM India. He made a very engaging and insightful presentation about the aspects of the NIRMAN journey. He walked the participants through the various aspects of the leadership journey and focussed on the range of expert-led sessions and guest lectures from renowned industry leaders and management gurus.

Also representing the SHRM India team was Mr. Nishant Parashar, Business Manager PSE at SHRM India. He assured the participants of the support that they will receive during the journey and the way SHRM India has delivered such journeys at other PSE organizations. Mr. Rakesh Kumar and Mr. Tushar Nayar also represented the SHRM team and interacted with the RVNL participants.
