RITES awards platform upgradation work to Kubera Corporates for Kollam Railway Station

RITES Limited has awarded a significant Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to M/s Kubera Corporates Pvt. Ltd. This contract involves comprehensive platform upgradation works aimed at enhancing the station’s infrastructure and passenger amenities at Kollam Railway station, improving accessibility, and ensuring a more efficient and comfortable travel experience for passengers.

The nature of the work is Platform upgradation works, replacement and laying of new platform flooring and signage, information boards, and posts (Other Engineering Works) for the redevelopment of Kollam Railway Station on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Mode, as stated by the company.

The awarded value of the contract is Rs 13 crore and the tenure for the completion of the contract is 600 days.

The collaboration between RITES and M/s Kubera Corporates for the redevelopment of Kollam Station marks a significant step towards modernizing India’s railway infrastructure.
