RITES Ltd. has signed a strategic Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with NMDC Limited to offer comprehensive project management consultancy services. This collaboration will focus on developing rail connectivity for NMDC’s mining sites, improving transportation infrastructure, and enhancing operational efficiencies through expert railway engineering and logistics solutions.
RITES will deliver services from the concept stage to commissioning, including reconnaissance surveys, feasibility studies, and the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR). The consultancy will also manage civil works such as roads, bridges, and associated infrastructure.
This will streamline raw material transport, improving NMDC’s logistics capabilities. RITES’ expertise in railway project management will play a crucial role in upgrading and developing these essential transport links, further optimizing NMDC’s operational efficiency.
