RINL Official presented prestigious Rajbhasha Nishta Samman

Ministry of Steel, Govt. of India has initiated one new award as ‘Rajbhasha Nishta Samman’ in the area of specific contribution in effective implementation of Official Language in PSUs under its administrative control.  

Under this category, Sri Prabhakar Manohar Divecha, Dy. General Manager (IT & ERP) was awarded with Shield in Hindi Salahkar Samiti meeting held on 13th May 2022 at Gangtok, Sikkim.  The award was received by CMD, RINL from Hon’ble Union Minister of Steel.

Sri Atul Bhatt, CMD, RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel plant handed over this prestigious award to Shri Divecha today and congratulated him for his exemplary performance and for being the first recipient of this award from RINL.

Shri Divecha was instrumental in bringing Unicode concept in RINL in the year 2009 and since then he continued as a regular Unicode Trainer till date and imparted training to RINL employees and also to the employees of member offices of TOLIC (Undertaking), Visakhapatnam. Unicode concept in computer language means allotting specific code to each letter.

This is mainly to bring uniformity. Unicode compatible text or file can be opened easily in any part of world thus forwarding font along with file is totally eliminated.He developed various IT modules for obtaining and processing Hindi Quarterly/Annual Reports etc. 

He took part in Hindi competitions at Organization Level and also at TOLIC (Town official language Implementation committee) (Undertaking) Level and won prizes on no. of occasions.  He contributed valuable articles for Seminar issues, Visakha Dhara (TOLIC Magazine) and brought concept of digital tools in training and usage in the area of Hindi propagation.
