NEW DELHI- Dr. Michael Debabrata Patra, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) inaugurated the Sub-office of the Reserve Bank in Kohima, Nagaland on 13 June 2023. With this, the Reserve Bank has further expanded its presence in the northeastern region (NER).
Its presence in this region now includes Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, and Nagaland. RBI’s office in Guwahati will continue to cater to the needs of the state of Arunachal Pradesh till the Reserve Bank’s office in Itanagar is opened, which is expected shortly.
