REC provides 15 ambulances to Parivaar Education Society under CSR
This initiative is expected to serve more than 10,000 poor tribal people per annum.
Madhya Pradesh: REC Limited under its CSR program has provided 15 ambulances to Parivaar Education Society for providing free ambulance and health services to tribal dominated areas in various districts of Madhya Pradesh.
This initiative is expected to serve more than 10,000 poor tribal people per annum. The ambulance were flagged off on 13 Sept, 2022. REC has given assistance of Rs. 1.32 Cr for the same.
REC has earlier provided CSR assistance for a 75-bed boys hostel in tribal area of Sandalpur, Dewas and another 150-bedded hostel for tribal girls at Sehore.
Under another ongoing program REC has also been providing food, basic education and other necessities to over 1500 tribal children through 11 Seva Kutirs in interior locations of Khandwa district, MP.
