Reappointment of Rakesh Sharma as MD & CEO of IDBI Bank
The reappointment came in effect after the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) nod, said in a regulatory filing.

New Delhi: The Indian private sector bank and a subsidiary of Life Insurance Corporation, IDBI Bank approved the reappointment of Rakesh Sharma as Managing Director and CEO of the Company for a period of three years. The Bank informed that on Thursday to the stock exchanges.
It mentioned, "The board has approved the reappointment of Rakesh Sharma as the managing director and chief executive officer (MD&CEO) of the bank for a period of three years, effective March 19, 2022."
The reappointment came in effect after the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) nod, said in a regulatory filing. Rakesh Sharma joined the company in October 2018 as the MD & CEO.
Previously Sharma was the MD & CEO of Canara Bank and in July 2018 he retired from his position. Prior to that, he also served in Laxmi Vilas Bank as the MD & CEO.
