RCF Organized inauguration of Soil Testing Lab & Kisan Suvidha Kendra
New Delhi: RCF Karnataka State Office (Bengaluru) had organized the inauguration of Soil Testing Lab (STL) & Kisan Suvidha Kendra (KSK) at Aland, Dist: Kalaburagi on 12.06.2022. Inauguration of STL & KSK center was done by the hands of Sri. Bhagwant Khuba, Hon’ble union Minister of States for Chemicals & Fertilizers, New & Renewable Energy.
The program was chaired by Shri. Subhash Guttedar, Hon’ble MLA Aland, and in presence of respected dignitaries’ Sri. K.U. Thankachen, Director (Mktg.) RCF Ltd., Smt. Sunetra Kamble, Executive Director (Mktg.)-I/c RCF Ltd., Smt. Rajashri Khajuri, President, Taluka Municipal Corporation, Aland, Shri Yallappa Subedar, Tahasildar, Aland, Shri. Monappa, Exe. Engineer, PRE Division, Kalaburagi, Shri. Vilas Raj, Executive Officer, Taluka Panchayat, Aland

An introductory speech was given by Smt. Sunetra Kamble, E.D(M) & briefed about RCF company policies, efforts by RCF to maintain uninterrupted supply etc., Dr. Belakki, Sr. Soil Scientist, KVK, Kalaburagi briefed about the Importance of Soil Testing, use of fertilizers based on analysis report etc.
Shri. K.U. Thankachen, Director (Mktg.) explained the role of RCF in promoting soil health, various CRM activities for educating the farmers.
Shri Subhash Guttedar, Hon’ble MLA Aland, in his speech, elaborates on the importance of soil testing in planning for crops.
Shri. Bhagwant Khuba, Hon’ble Union Minister explained to the audience about the various policies of central Govt. to avoid scarcity of fertilizers, subsidy offered on fertilizers, MSP for crops, import of fertilizers, Kisan Soil Health Cards scheme for the farmers etc.
Hon’ble minister stressed the farmers to use the soil testing facility and plan the purchase of required inputs based on that. Mr. Khuba also expressed his satisfaction and thanked RCF for establishing the STL in rural areas considering the need of farmers and praised for RCF’s regular involvement in progress of farmers.
