RailTel Corporation secures Rs 67.87 crore contract from Bangalore Metro for CCTV system upgrade
New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Limited has received an order worth Rs 67.87 crore (excluding taxes) from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to upgrade the existing CCTV system for Reach 1 of Bangalore Metro and to provide comprehensive maintenance.
Additionally, the company has received the work order from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd for SITC of IT Network Infrastructure at Stations and Depots for Reach 5, Reach 6 (Passive Components Only) & Reach 3C amounting to Rs. 75,01,98,099 (Excluding Tax).
Upgrading CCTV System: The existing CCTV systems at metro stations and associated buildings under Reach 1 will be enhanced to improve surveillance and security.

The contract also includes comprehensive maintenance of the upgraded CCTV system. The project is expected to be executed and completed by February 2, 2025.
The contract includes both the supply and installation of upgraded surveillance systems, ensuring operational efficiency and improved safety.
