Recently, NBCC (India) Ltd on January 24 announced it had received two new orders, totaling Rs 229.75 crore. This adds to its infrastructure projects portfolio. Earlier, it has received orders worth Rs 405 crore last week. These included construction works in Delhi, Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Uttar Pradesh, and Mumbai.

This suggests that the company can execute a diverse range of projects across different regions in India. In terms of market positioning, the stock has underperformed its sector by 4.16%. The stock reached an intraday low of Rs 85.39, reflecting ongoing challenges in maintaining upward momentum.

Additionally, it is currently trading below its 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, indicating a sustained bearish trend. The stock has recorded a decline of 7.22%, contrasting with the Sensex, which fell by 3.62%. The stock's performance relative to the broader market highlights the difficulties it faces in the current economic landscape.
