Pratima Singh IRS Appointed as Director in DPIIT
Pratima Singh, an IRS officer from the 2009 batch, has been selected for the prestigious role under the Central Staffing Scheme.

The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) has recently appointed Pratima Singh, an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), as the Director of the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
Singh's appointment as Director in DPIIT is for five years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever comes earlier. Her selection was recommended by the Department of Revenue, where she was serving before this new appointment.
