An Electrical Engineering graduate from Nagpur University, Shri Pramod Kumar joined Indian Railways in 1986 under the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE).

Shri Pramod Kumar, an IRSEE 1986 batch officer, has assumed the additional role of General Manager at Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala. He is currently serving as Principal Chief Administrative Officer (PCAO) of Patiala Locomotive Works, known for his innovation in sustainable rail technology, his leadership is expected to bring advancements in coach production quality and capacity at RCF.
An Electrical Engineering graduate from Nagpur University, Shri Pramod Kumar joined Indian Railways in 1986 under the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE). His early contributions include his role in Bhopal’s railway electrification project in 1990.
Throughout his career, Mr. Kumar has held various notable roles, such as Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer/Railway Electrification, Chief Project Manager/Railway Electrification in Ambala, and Chief Electrical Design Engineer at RCF.
