POWERGRID Partners with Haryana for Shiv Dham Yojana in Rural Areas
POWERGRID has signed MoU with Haryana State Development and Panchayat Department for construction and restoration of crematoriums and burial grounds in rural areas of the state under the Shiv Dham Yojana. The MoU was signed in presence of Shri Nayab Singh Saini, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri R. K. Tyagi, Chaiman and Managing Director of POWERGRID, Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Pers.), POWERGRID, senior dignitaries, officials from POWERGRID, Government of Haryana and district administration of Gurugram. The Shiv Dham Yojana will benefit 503 villages and 658 places across four districts of Haryana - Kurukshetra, Panipat, Karnal, and Rewari.
