The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Hindu shrine Kalki Dham in Sambhal. The program is attended by many saints, religious leaders, and other dignitaries.

The projects will be further unveiled at the groundbreaking ceremony in Lucknow, valued over Rs 10 lakh crore. The projects aim to generate 33.5 lakh employment opportunities in the mentioned state and would exceptionally focus on sectors such as manufacturing, renewable energy, information technology, housing, and real estate. The initiatives are part of a Memorandum of Understanding signed during the UP Global Investors Summit held last year, which saw a total investment of 40 lakh crore.

Out of a total of Rs 10 lakh crore investment, maximum investments are from sunrise sectors like manufacturing [21 percent], renewable energy [13 percent], IT and ITeS [9 percent], food processing [6 percent], hospitality and entertainment [three percent], education [three percent], etc.

The Global Investor Summit 2024, will see the participation of around 5,000 attendees, comprising industrialists, representatives of global and Indian firms, ambassadors, high commissioners, and other guests.

A grand exhibition is also being organized along with the groundbreaking ceremony. More than 9 sectors will be showcased in this 3-day exhibition which will include AI Pavilion, textile, logistics, warehousing, defence, aerospace, etc.
