PFC pays final dividend of Rs. 462 crore to Government of India for the financial year 2023-24
Power Finance Corporation (PFC), a Maharatna Company and a leading NBFC in the power sector, has paid Rs 462 crore to the Govt. of India and Rs 363 crore to other shareholders, totalling Rs 825 crore as the Final Dividend for the financial year 2023-24. For the Financial Year 2023-24, PFC paid Rs. 4455 Crore dividend, out of which Rs. 2495 Crore, including the final dividend of Rs. 462 crore, was paid to Govt. of India against 55.99% of shareholding. This is the highest-ever dividend paid by PFC in any Financial Year.
The first, second & third interim dividend @45%, 35% & 30% % i.e. Rs. 4.5, Rs. 3.5 & Rs.3 per equity share of face value Rs. 10 each, respectively, were declared by the Board of Directors earlier in November 2023, February 2024, and March 2024 in addition to the final dividend @25% i.e. Rs. 2.5 per equity share for the financial year 2023-24. During FY 2023-24, PFC earned its highest-ever Profit after Tax (PAT) of Rs. 14,367 crore.
